50 YEARS OF THE F-16

2024 marks the 50th anniversary from one of the most iconic fighter aircraft F-16, the Viper. On January 20, 1974, the YF-16 project was authorized to enter in development and production for US Air Force. The first production variant, the F-16A, first flew in December 1976 and the first operational F-16A was delivered in January 1979 to the 388th Tactical Fighter Wing of USAF at Hill Air Force Base, Utah.

To honour this Legendary aircraft, Kinetic Model released our new Gold Series F-16 in 2022. This 1/48 scale model is completely newly tooled and is well received by modellers.
